Getting Started

Create an Organization

Understand organizations in PlayableLabs and how to get started with your workspace

Why Organizations?

Everything in PlayableLabs is scoped to an organization. An organization is your team's workspace — it contains all your games, assets, team members, and settings. Each organization has its own permissions and data isolation.

You can belong to multiple organizations and switch between them using the organization selector in the sidebar.

Getting Started

When you sign up for PlayableLabs, a Personal Organization is automatically created for you. This is your default workspace where you can start managing games immediately.

Organization creation is coming soon. The ability to create additional organizations is currently under development. For now, all users work within their Personal Organization.

Current Workflow

  1. Sign in to PlayableLabs at app.playablelabs.studio
  2. You are automatically placed in your Personal Organization
  3. Start creating games and inviting team members right away

If you belong to multiple organizations (e.g., invited to another team), use the organization selector in the sidebar to switch between them.

What's Coming

When organization creation launches, you'll be able to:

  • Team Collaboration — Invite team members and manage roles across separate workspaces
  • Access Control — Fine-grained permissions for games and resources per organization
  • Instant Setup — Get started in minutes with a guided setup flow
  • Global CDN — Fast delivery of your playables worldwide

Need multiple organizations now? Contact our sales team at sales@playablelabs.studio for early access.

Organization Settings

You can configure your current organization from Settings > General in the sidebar:

  • Name — Update your organization's display name
  • Slug — Your unique URL identifier (auto-generated, can be customized)
  • Logo — Upload a brand logo for your workspace

Next Steps

Your organization is set up. Now let's create your first game.
